The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Campus Wide Central Chilled Water System - Bid Package #2, Building Modifications & Oak Street Steam Tunnel Piping Modifications at Urbana project.

Project Description
The project is to perform required building modifications to connect existing chilled water piping to campus wide chilled water system. In addition, the project is to perform Oak Street Steam Tunnel Piping Modifications to connect Oak Street Chiller Plant to Abbott Power Plant.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, October 31, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held at the Physical Plant Services Building in Room 128 at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, October 22, 2002. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
