Description of Project
The project consists of the planning and construction of a new Advanced Chemical Technology Building (ACTB) for the University of Illinois at Chicago. The ACTB is to be located on the east side of the UIC Campus and designed to facilitate the interaction of biology, chemistry and physics research. The primary research disciplines to be housed in the building include: organic chemistry, bio-chemistry, chemical biology, biophysics, physical chemistry, neuroscience, nano-science/material science, and laser dynamics. In addition to labs the building will house office, conference, and seminar space to support the research activities as well as other lab support and building support components.
