Project Description
The project consists of construction of the structural steel (Release III) for the new College of Medicine Research Building at the Chicago campus.

Prequalification to Bid
The bid documents will be provided to prequalified bidders by the Construction Manager:

The prequalification process begins with the prospective bidders' submittal of a Prequalification Application. Copies of the application may be obtained from the Construction Manager, Attention: Robert Stuart, Associate Purchasing Agent. The prequalification process will begin Monday, February 5, 2001. The prequalification deadline for Release III is 4:00 p.m. prevailing time on Friday, March 16, 2001. Prequalification applications received after the deadline will be returned unopened to the applicant.

After the prequalification deadline, all those applicants who are prequalified for the project will be notified by the construction manager. Bid documents will be distributed by the construction manager to only those applicants who are prequalified.
