Project Description
The project consists of full A/E services for the design and construction of a satellite vivarium in the remaining vacant space on the 2nd floor of the SPHPI (building 975). It will be approximately 5000 square feet in size and include a cage wash facility.

A/E Submittals
Firms should submit 4 copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 dated 7/1/99) by 12:00 noon, Thursday, December 20, 2001 addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

A/E Qualifications
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect/engineer in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system

Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
