The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Graduate School of Library and Information Sciences Building Addition at Urbana.


Project Description
This project involves additions and alternations to the existing Graduate School of Library and Information Sciences Building, including ADA and site modifications and utility extensions.

Bid Proposals
Division II through Division V bid submission - Bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, December 14, 1999, for Division II through Division V work.

Division II through Division I bid submission - Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, December 14, 1999, for Division I work.

Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at: The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, c/o Office for Project Planning & Facility Management, Illini Union Bookstore, 807 S. Wright St., Suite 320, Champaign, IL 61820 ATTN: Steve Hesselschwerdt (shessel@uiuc.edu).

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, December 14, 1999. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 514 of the Illini Union Bookstore, 807 S. Wright St., Champaign, IL at 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, December 1, 1999. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
