The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Replacement Warehouse at the Chicago Campus project.

Project Description
The project consists of warehouse remodeling to accommodate a shipping and receiving area, mail distribution center, library storage and general storage.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, March 7, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the Replacement Warehouse 1557 West 15th Street, Chicago, Illinois, at 1:00 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, February 21, 2001. Representatives of the owner and the environmental consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
