The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Shower Renovations at the Urbana Campus.

Project Description
The project consists of the renovation of eight shower rooms in Babcock and Saunders Halls.

Bid Proposals
For Division II - Plumbing Work, bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, March 6, 2001. For Division I - General Work, bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, March 6, 2001. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, March 6, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid conference will be held in Room 111A, Carr Lounge, Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Hall, 906 College Court, Urbana, IL at 1:30 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, February 27, 2001. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
