The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programshereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the Alumni Center at the Urbana Campus.

Project Description
This project consists of a new 54,000 square foot three-story office building/meeting center for the University of Illinois Alumni Association. The project includes the building construction, associated site work, and associated utilities.

Bid Dates
Bids for Divisions II through VI work will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Wednesday, April 28, 2004. Bids for Division I work will be received up to the hour of 3:00 p.m. prevailing time, on April 28, 2004. The owner shall assign the contracts for Contract Divisions II - VI Work to the Contract Division I (General Contractor) in accordance with Article 6.2 of the General Conditions. (Refer to Articles 6.2 and 15 of the General Conditions for requirements concerning assignments of contracts.) Submit all proposals to the owner at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, April 22, 2004.Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in the Colonial Room of the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., Urbana, IL 61801 at 9:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday, April 12, 2004. Representatives of the owner and the professional services consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
