Project Description
This project is to renovate the main floor of the Brookens Library (BRK). The intent is to remove the original floor covering, the front circulation desk, electric drop poles, reference desk, glass study rooms, and existing signage. New stained concrete flooring to be installed with small carpet insets for reading and lounge areas. New carpet in adjacent spaces. Smaller circulation and reference desks to meet current demands, New way finding signage and the construction of a new classroom space.

This Project is predominantly taking place on the second floor of the existing Brookens Library located at One University Plaza, Springfield, IL 62703 on the University of Illinois Springfield campus.
