Project Description
The goal of the project is to create healthy inspiring and authentically pleasing spaces for students, staff, and faculty in the Mechanical Sciences and Engineering Department. Renovation of 66,000 sf. existing building constructed in 1947 including building envelope improvements. 5 level, 30,000 sf. addition east of the existing structure and 3,400 sf. addition to infill existing courtyard. Scope of work includes building envelope, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Hazmat, FF&E, and AV.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held in UIUC, Facilities and Services, Conf. Rm. 128, 1501 South Oak Street, Champaign, IL 61820 on 01/16/19 at 10:00 AM prevailing time. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend.
