Contractor to completely remove existing partitioned structures including doors, frames, hardware etc. for removal of existing wood floor. Doors, frames, and hardware to be set aside for reinstallation. Entire existing wood floor and subfloor is to be removed (except for areas behind and around existing bleachers) being careful not to damage or loosen existing sleepers which are to remain in place. Any loosened or damaged sleepers are to be re-fastened or replaced in preparation for new flooring. Once existing flooring has been removed, contractor to securely install 3/4" plywood over existing sleepers. Installation of wood gym flooring system (combination of DIN-Certified and Non-DIN-Certified flooring) to be installed over plywood subfloor (wood floor system may include, but is not limited to, resilient pads, steel channels, plywood subflooring, 25/32" x 2 1/4" maple flooring). Existing wood flooring behind existing bleachers is to remain, however, it's to be sanded and refinished to match new flooring. Contractor to provide finishing of new wood flooring including sanding, painting of graphics and court lines. Vented rubber base at perimeter to be installed after floor finishing. Contractor to rebuild partitioned structures, including door, frame, and hardware reinstallation. Partitions to be painted following installation.
