Project Description
This project shall include improvements to the existing service drive and complete removal without replacement of the adjacent deficient parking areas at parking lot F17A west of Florida Avenue Residence (FAR) Halls. Improvements to the drive will consist of an asphalt overlay and paving mat for a new asphalt wearing surface. Variable milling will be necessary to meet existing pavement some areas. New curb and gutter will be installed along the new pavement limits where applicable. New concrete pavement will be constructed in areas of high traffic turning movements by delivery and trash vehicles. New concrete aprons around drains will be constructed. Existing lot drainage infrastructure will be adjusted and/or extended to resolve ponding at low areas. Turf will be established and graded to drain throughout the area that is currently deficient parking. The site will be restored.
This Project is located at: Northeast of the intersection of Maryland Drive and Florida Avenue, at the west side of Florida Avenue Residence (FAR) Hall, on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
