Description of Project
This project consists of infrastructure upgrades and remodeling for the Research Resources Center in the Medical Sciences Building and relocation of Research Resources Center labs out of the basement of the Medical Sciences Building. The scope of the work includes general and infrastructure demolition, upgrades to the plumbing, new chillers, all new HVAC and temperature controls & electrical infrastructure. Space remodeling includes electron microscope labs, special high speed sorter research lab, supporting office space, and other repairs associated with the upgrades, relocation of labs and remodeling to improve operation of this highly technical department.

Professional Services Consultant Submittals
Firms should submit 4 copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use latest CDB SF) by 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2004 addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Minimum Qualifications
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

Licensed to practice as an architect/engineer in the State of Illinois
Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system
