Project Description FAR/Oglesby Residence Hall, built in 1966 is in need of replacing 3 elevators. This would include replacing the three cabs per floor, 13-stop traction elevators, machine room equipment, hall buttons, complete cabs, glides, cables, etc. to upgrade the elevators to current elevator codes and ADA guidelines. In addition to this work, a new sump pump and shaft ventilation will be provided per Code. The professional service consultant will shall design, bid, and administer the elevator replacement work. Staging of this project will require two of the elevators to be replaced in the summer and the third in the fall. An elevator subconsultant is recommended for the submitting team.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Utilize an AutoCAD compatible system to provide documents.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
