Project Description
The University of Illinois is seeking a Professional Services Consultant (PSC) to complete a survey of existing mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems on the Urbana and Springfield campuses. The condition of each system will be assessed to determine if maintenance, repair, or complete replacement is required. Approximately 175 buildings will be included in the survey of the Urbana campus and 11 at Springfield. The survey shall include a replacement schedule based upon the equipment’s life expectancy, an assessment of condition, and operational criticality. The PSC shall also provide conceptual cost estimates for the recommended replacement system.
