Project Description
The University of Illinois is seeking professional services for design, bid management, and construction administration of a 3,575 square foot remodeling project for the BioEngineering Department on the first floor of the Digital Computer Laboratory. This project will provide four bio-level-2 wet labs (400 linear feet of bench, four solvent fume hoods, four bio-safety cabinets), a chemical waste storage room, and a new make-up air unit in the basement level. Project will also include remodeling of existing space to become a microbial bacterial room, and addition of a dark room and cold room to be added to room 1070.
