Project Description
The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Professional Service Consultant (PSC) for the design, bid/award, construction phase, and warranty services for the Davenport Hall - West Renovation located at 607 S Mathews, Urbana. This project shall renovate portions of the west wing of Davenport Hall. The renovation includes General Assignment Classrooms, public areas, and supporting areas. New HVAC, sprinkler and life safety systems, elevator modernization, and electrical service replacement will be included. Repurposed classrooms will receive new audio/visual equipment. Window sashes will be installed in the windows that will receive HVAC upgrades and new windows will be provided where needed in the south interior courtyard. The west entrance to the building will be examined to create an accessible entrance. This project will focus on the high student use areas and make highly visible improvements in the public spaces.
