DUI evaluation research
to
Center for Addictions Research and Evaluation (CARE)
for
an estimated $12,500.
Dr. Wanberg and Dr. Timken of CARE have developed a comprensive DUI evaluation research tool called Adult Substance Use and Driving Survey (ASUDS) and they hold the copyright for the ASUDS instrument. This tool has been used by the Institute of Legal and Policy Studies at the University of Illinois at Springfield for two years. ILAPS plans to use the ASUDS instrument for further DUI evaluation, create a users guide and have Dr. Wanberg and Dr. Timken sponsor a workshop. It is the intent of ILAPS to continue Research and information gathering through this year using the ASUDS instrument.
