The University awarded a contract for laboratory testing services .
Vendor will provide laboratory testing services to the University of Illinois Springfield ILLAPS Illinois Innocence Project throughout the term of the contract.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for services, commodities, and equipment to support the delivery of timely forensic science services (30 ILCS 500/1-10(b)(13)) Vendor will be providing laboratory testing services to the Illinois Innocence Project examining evidence from cases to determine results as required by the Illinois Courts.
