The University of Illinois Springfield, on behalf of its Information Technology Services (ITS), is seeking proposals for its initiative to transform its current datacenter infrastructure to both reduce operating costs and better accommodate future growth. Central to this initiative is the integration of server virtualization technologies. Additionally, ITS wishes to accommodate anticipated storage growth for both existing and anticipated campus services, and provide support for virtual desktop technologies in the near future.
