Invitation for Bid: Lab Animal Bedding
Two vendor proposals were submitted for this IFB. Both were non-responsive, as they failed to provide all the required documentation as described in the bid document.
The University intend to publish a new Invitation for Bid (1EJB2005) to meet this documented need.
The due date for bid submissions is now Tuesday, March 12, 2019, 2:00 p.m. CDT.
Amendment 1 also includes additions, revisions, and clarifications to award details and specifications.

PLEASE NOTE: A pre-submission conference call will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 10:30am Central Standard Time. While attendance is not mandatory, it is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to ensure that potential vendors have a full understanding of bid submission requirements. See bid document for call in information.
VENDORS ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO REVIEW THEIR BIDS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH ALL ASPECTS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND RESPONSIVENESS PRIOR TO SUBMISSION.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable. There is no BEP goal for this procurement. The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
