The Center for Hypersonics and Entry Systems Studies (CHESS) at the University of Illinois is seeking the procurement of an inductively-coupled plasma (ICP) system to drive a high enthalpy wind tunnel for testing of thermal protection systems materials under extreme conditions that simulate reactive hypersonic environments.
