The University awarded a contract for Kits and Reagents for Genome Sequencing Equipment to Illumina, Inc., San Diego, CA, for an estimated $3,000,000.
Kits and reagents for two Illumina MiSeq's, three HiSeq2000's, and one iScan System at the Roy G. Carver Biotechnology Center.
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the compatibility of equipment, accessories, replacement parts, or service is a paramount consideration.
