Invitation for Bid: Operation of Waste Transfer Station
This solicitation is being cancelled based on the Administrative Rules Section 4.2040, as the pricing received from the one responsive vendor was determined to be not fair and reasonable. This solicitation will be re-bid under 1MRW2005.
Amendment 2 is to answer vendor questions.
Amendment 1 is to answer vendor questions, provide clarification to Section 5.4.3 Recycling, and extend the bid opening date to July 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM Local Time.

The University of Illinois seeks a vendor to operate its Waste Transfer Station (WTS) and haul University solid waste from the WTS. The services will include, but not be limited to providing trailers and containers for use, hauling trailers and containers from the site, sorting recyclable materials from the waste stream, and operating and maintaining equipment on site.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable. There is a BEP goal for this procurement. See solicitation documentation for details. The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
