The University of Illinois is reviewing its employee optional deferred compensation programs. The Office of Human Resources is requesting proposals from qualified firms to assist in performing this review. The services requested in this Request for Proposal fall within the following categories: (a) review of the University?s current 403(b) plan design relative to industry norms and recent regulatory changes; (b) establish criteria for the qualification of investment firms considering the current competitive market for 403(b) offerings; (c) evaluate current vendors and offerings; (d) review of the University?s current 403(b) vendor monitoring efforts and provide monitoring services; and (e) identification of changes/additions in deferred compensation program offerings to maximize value to University employees.

Information regarding experience and backgrounds of key management and operational staff assigned to the University, general company information, as well as other information will be required.
