Code 4.2035(e) which allows professional and artistic contracts under $20,000 to be made in accordance with 30 ILCS 500/35-30(f) and 44 ILL. Admin. Code 4.2020 (Small Purchases). This contract was issued for WQPT, a division of Western Illinois University. The responsible decision maker is Dawn Schmitt, Business Manager and Mary Pruess, Director of WQPT. The vendor is RSM US LLP. The contract amount is $16,500. The contract term is from 8/2/2016 through 6/30/2017. The reference number is N075430. Vendor to provide audit services. It would be disadvantageous to the University to cancel the contract to award to another firm since RSM US LLP has audited the financial statements for WQPT for the past three years. The cost is reasonable since RSM US LLP already knows how WQPT functions and their internal controls.
