The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University on behalf of the Office of University Risk Management is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide insurance broker services for the purpose of soliciting insurance quotes for the placement of the University�??s medical professional liability coverage for Student Health Services. The resulting contract is anticipated to begin March 1, 2012 to allow the selected broker time to place coverage for the period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. The selected broker will not be asked to become the Broker of Record on the policy that has not expired prior to the inception of this contract but will serve as Broker of Record for new placements after March 1, 2012. The selected broker will be appointed for an initial three year period, subject to continuing need, availability of funds, and satisfactory service. Options for renewal (if offered by the University) may extend the term of the contract for up to two additional three-year periods subject to continuing need, availability of funds, and satisfactory service.
