The University awarded a contract for Digital Educational Math Intervention Materials.
This product is the digital version of the teacher manuals for hands-on math manipulatives for students in grades 2-8 who are being tutored across the state.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) This purchase will provide online texts for over 2000 students tutored each semester. Books are categorized by reading and age levels for tutors to support students individually.
