The Board of Trustees of Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU or University) is accepting proposals from professional firms, including law firms, to provide legislative consulting services and advocacy activities in support of the Universitys legislative agenda. The Universitys goal is to ensure that its needs are represented to the legislative and executive branches of State of Illinois government consistent with its mission and with overall University priorities.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
This procurement may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable.
There is a 30 percent BEP goal for this procurement. See solicitation documentation for details.
The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.
