The University awarded a contract for Resident Education and Training Support.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) has contracted services for twelve (12) SIU School of Pharmacy students to participate in five (5) week Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE Required Hospital Rotations), twenty (20) hours of classroom didactic teaching, and resident education and training support for two (2) residents.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for placement of students in externships, practicums, field experiences, and for medical residencies and rotations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(6)) Local Funds
