The University awarded a contract for Pharmacy Resident Education and Training Support.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) has contracted services for twelve (12) SIUE School of Pharmacy students to participate in a five (5) week Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE Required Hospital Rotations), twenty (20) classroom hours of didactic teaching, and mentoring of one (1) student senior capstone project.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for placement of students in externships, practicums, field experiences, and for medical residencies and rotations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(6)) Local Funds
