The University awarded a contract for Quantitative Analysis and Modeling.
Quantitative analysis and modeling of IL wastewater surveillance system (IWSS) time-series data. This will include weekly analysis of trends at each IWSS site, quantification of uncertainties in concentration levels and trends, and correlations to relate wastewater surveillance data to other public health measures for pandemic intelligence.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(2)) Services needed from personnel with specialized expertise in areas of wastewater surveillance and data analysis.
