The University awarded a contract for expanded offerings in Alma system.
The Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) purchased its Alma system under solicitation reference number 1TLC1801. This exempt purchase is to allow for the addition of additional named users, and to provide options for CARLI members to purchase access to the Rapido and Alma Digital Services products.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for procurement expenditures for any ongoing software
license or maintenance agreement or competitively
solicited software purchase, when the software, license,
or maintenance agreement is available through only the
software creator or its manufacturer and not a reseller ( 30 ILCS 500/1-13 (b)(10)) Ex Libris is the software manufacturer.
