The Fluno Center has been the host site for the ATI Conference since 2005. This conference is sponsored by the National Cancer Institute of the National Institute of Health. The sponsor has mandated the use of this vendor.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because
the procurement expenditures are for events or activities for which the use of specific vendors is mandated or identified by the sponsor of the event or activity, provided that the sponsor is providing a majority of the funding for the event or activity.
