The University awarded a contract for Philips Allura 3D Coronary Angiography.
Philips Allura 3D Coronary Angiography is a powerful interventional tool for coronary imaging.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical services necessary for the delivery of care and treatment at medical, dental, or veterinary teaching facilities utilized by SIU or U of I (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) The Allura helps prevent misrepresentations of lesions and bifurcations by minimizing foreshortened views of the coronary vessel tree. It provides high quality imaging in the interventional suite that enables clinicians to assess soft tissue before, during or after an interventional procedure.
