The University awarded a contract for Ellen Demertsidis for AED training and database .
Ellen Demartsidis will provide training, curriculum & protocol development for Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in targeted areas in partnership with Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Heart Rescue Project. Funding was provided by a private grant from Medtronic Foundation.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because the procurement expenditures are for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof.
