The University awarded a contract for research data and table extraction from ANRF.
Americans for Nonsmokers Rights Foundation (ANRF) will provide research data and table extraction so that an ongoing research program for the National Cancer Institute can utilize these extractions. Total funding was obtained from National Cancer Institute and use of this specific vendor was identified by this funding agency.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes in the procurement code because the procurement expenditures are for events or activities for which the use of specific vendors is mandated or identified by the sponsor of the event or activity, provided that the sponsor is providing a majority of the funding for the event or activity.
