The University awarded a contract for electronic health record (EHR) data.
The Methodist Medical Center of Illinois will be responsible for providing the electronic health record (EHR) data of enrolled participants in the All of Us Research Program in an electronic format to the University of Illinois at Chicago. These records are important for the study to be able to match their medical records to study results.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for medical supplies or medical services necessary for the delivery of care and treatment at medical, dental, or veterinary teaching facilities utilized by SIU or U of I (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b-5)) These services are dictated by the sponsor and grant in efforts to obtain medical records for participant enrollment from the Methodist Medical Center of Illinois. These records are important for the study to be able to match their medical records to study results.
