This is an estimated amount for a FIELD DIRECTIVE for redrilling and installation of new casing for the hydraulic elevator jack due to obstruction (rock) hit during initial drilling. Contractor must receive authorization prior to June 13 in order to avoid a delay in substantion completion of the project. The rework is expected to take 4 weeks.

Project Description
Project work includes elevator cab and machinery upgrades to two existing elevators at two University of Illinois Buildings - Bevier Hall (Bldg. 158) and Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital (Bldg. 292). Limited MEP and architectural work to support these elevator upgrades are included, as shown on the Drawings.
