Project Description
The project consists of the modernization of two 14-stop traction passenger elevators; including replacement of existing controls, motors, traction machines, cab enclosures, cabling, car doors, and door operators. New controls will be provided with Phase 1 and 2 firefighters operation per current life safety code requirements including a standalone elevator recall system. New electrical feeders will be provided to power the elevators, as well as new automatic transfer switch with time delay controls. Car operating panels, hall pushbutton stations, and all signal fixtures will be provided in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Patch and paint as necessary for a complete installation. New A/C units will be provided in the elevator machine room, and venting will be provided in the hoistways. New sump pumps will be provided, as well as minor modifications to the fire sprinkler piping and heads within the elevator hoistway.
