Project Description
Project consists of replacing an existing AHU (located in attic space) with a new modular central station AHU located on the roof. Existing air distribution ductwork shall also be removed and replaced. The new unit shall be variable air volume type with VAV + reheat boxes. New AHU shall serve approximately 2,400 sq. ft of space (rooms 1104 thru 1109 and 1157. Existing 4-pipe fan coil units in perimeter zones (rooms 1104, 1105, 1106 and 1107) shall be removed and replaced with hot water fin-tube units for winter heating. Existing HW and CHW source in the building will be reused for HVAC. Existing spline ceiling and lighting in/around rooms 1108 and 1109 will be replaced. Wall/floor finishes in some rooms shall be restored due to incidental work associated with this project. Building automation for HVAC shall be limited to Alpha controls.
