Project Description
This project will demolish the four (4) existing chiller units at Law Building, and connect the sixteen (16) existing AHUs, which are currently served by the existing chiller units, to the Central Chilled Water System (CCWS). This project includes extending the CCWS into Law Building. This project will upgrade the building automation system to include the new chilled water BTU metering station and modify existing controls at all AHUs to be connected to the CCWS. Alternate 1 scope shall also include demolition of the two cooling towers (CT-1 and CT-2) located on the Law Building roof. Alternate 2 scope shall dictate that a portion of the CHWS&R and compressed air piping beneath the Fourth Street and Peabody Drive intersection shall be bored HDPE, rather than trenching through the intersection.
