Project Description
The renovation of the original Burrill Hall & Library and stack area is to accommodate the new Molecular and Cellular Biology Learning Center as well as supporting conference rooms, classrooms, and offices. The renovation work will include minor interior demolition for remodeling, new partitions and finishes, moderate exterior expansion for egress components, related mechanical infrastructure and indoor heating and cooling/air quality and electrical distribution for power and tele/data. The Project area is approximately 17,500 SF on three floors.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held in Burrill Hall - Existing Library Stacks 407 S. Goodwin Ave. Urbana, IL 61801 on 01/12/17 at 2:00 PM prevailing time. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend.
The area of work for the project is at the NW end of Burrill Hall at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Campus. Burrill Hall is located at 407 S. Goodwin Avenue, Urbana, IL 61801.
