Project Description
Renovation of Smith Memorial Hall include enclosing existing stairs, improving handrails and guardrails, improving site drainage at the west 1953 addition, a new ramp to the Memorial Room, renovation of the first and second floor restrooms, main circulation space plaster repair and painting, replacement of recital hall seating, replacement of the perimeter steam and condensate heating system, humidification system, LED backlighting of stained glass panels in ceilings, and emergency generator, replacement of the electrical substation and upgrading of the distribution systems, upgrade of the chandeliers in the recital hall, installation of an automatic sprinkler system, fire alarm system, and hazardous materials remediation.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held in Smith Memorial Hall, Room 25, 805 South Matthews, Urbana, IL 61801 on 03/23/17 at 10:00 AM prevailing time. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend.
