Project Description
The project work includes the build-out of approximately 2,600 sf of existing shell space on the third floor of the Oak Street Library Facility constructed in 2004 as part of the original building. The project will provide office space for the University Collection Management Services. Work includes construction of an accessible single user toilet room with plumbing fixtures connecting to existing service rough-ins, new finishes including acoustical wall panels & manual window sun shading devices in the open office area, extension of the air distribution system from existing AHU unit, installation of perimeter style baseboard heaters along the exterior south wall, modifications to the existing sprinkler and fire alarm system and new indirect lighting, receptacles and data jacks throughout the space tied to occupancy sensors. Fire Protection work described in documents (drawing sheet FP1.0 and specification sections 210500 & 211313) will be the responsibility of the General Contractor - Div. 1.

This Project is located at: Oak Street Library, 809 S. Oak Street, Champaign, IL 61820 on the 3rd floor.
