Project Description
Work covered by Contract Documents: Phased upgrades of nine existing elevators in Krannert Art Museum (two elevators), Main Library (two elevators), Mumford Hall (one elevator), Newmark Civil Engineering Building (one elevator), and Psychology Laboratory (three elevators). Work includes all items related to the modernization of nine elevators. The major areas of work include, but are not limited to, modernization of elevator cab and equipment; electrical power feeds and rewiring; HVAC upgrades for machine rooms; Plumbing work as required; and painting.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held in Facilities and Services, Physical Plant Services Building, Conference Room 1810 at 1501 S. Oak St. Champaign, IL 61820 on 12/19/16 at 2:30 PM prevailing time. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend.
