Project Description
This project includes a 1 story addition for new classroom space including new bathrooms and ADA accessible main entrance with interior renovation of common areas on the lower level, replacement of mechanical equipment in the penthouse with new single AHU system with HW and VAV improvements, replacement of all existing exterior windows, expansion of north terrace including new grading, flatwork, finishes and landscaping, and provision of temporary conditioning trailer during construction. Work includes selective demolition, civil, landscaping, architectural, structural, plumbing, heating/temperature controls, ventilation, electrical, AV/IT, FF&E and abatement scope. Note that civil, landscaping, structural, FF&E and abatement work shall be a part of the General trades contract. AV/IT work shall be a part of the Electrical trades contract. The project will have phased portions of work. Refer to the Milestone Matrix and Phasing Plans in the Contract Documents.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held in School of Labor and Employment Relations Building, 504 East Armory Ave., Room 133a, Champaign, IL 61820 on 01/03/18 at 2:00 PM prevailing time. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend.

This Project is located at: School of Labor and Employment Relations Building, #0218, 504 East Armory Avenue, Champaign, IL 61801. Renovation work is located primarily at Lower Level and Penthouse of existing building. New addition work is located on East and portion of South side of building. Terrace area work is located on North side of building. Window and door replacement work will impact all four sides of building.
