Project Description
Project includes the following: The complete removal of two (2) elevators and associated machinery; installation of two (2) new traction elevators, machinery and renovated cabs; increase the opening height of the hoist way doors on the 1st floor; renovation of ten (10) multiple user public restrooms; this includes the removal of all floor, wall and ceiling tile, all existing toilet fixtures and accessories, all existing plumbing piping above the lower level slab, and all lighting; reinstallation of new plumbing piping, new toilet fixtures and accessories, new ceramic floor and wall tile, new suspended acoustical ceiling tile, new lighting, and the reconfiguration of HVAC system elements; and painting of walls not receiving tile. The project also includes mitigation of hazardous materials in the areas of work and in areas immediately adjacent to the work as needed.

A pre-bid meeting will be held in Room 2334, Music Building, 1114 West Nevada Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801 on 07/25/18 at 1:00 PM prevailing time. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
