Project Description
The project consolidates primary care patient services in the building historically identified as the Illinois Simulation Laboratory. The facility will be repurposed to support a busy primary care veterinary practice. These services are currently delivered in the Veterinary Teach hospital. Relocation of the service to a free-standing setting will allow the College to develop a primary care practice that replicates the private practice environment in which a large percentage of new Illinois veterinarians will work after graduation. New spaces include: public waiting and reception, exam rooms, species specific animal wards, treatment areas including dental, an operating room and instrument sterilization space. The renovated area totals 7,020 SF. The building currently houses the Zoo Med service and administrative office, these areas will remain operational throughout construction.
This Project is located at: 2100 South Goodwin Avenue, Urbana, Illinois 61801
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held in the ISL South Clinic, 2100 South Goodwin Avenue, Urbana, Illinois 61801 on 02/14/19 at 2:00 PM prevailing time. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend.
