Project Description
The University of Illinois is seeking professional services for design, bid management, and the construction administration for a project which will replace outdated and worn electrical distribution equipment. The Digital Computer Laboratory, located on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, is currently served by three electrical services. This project will replace 54 year old electrical service and distribution equipment. Life safety devices and systems in the older portion of the building will be connected to a new emergency generator. The work of this project will also address an old exposed high-voltage electrical wiring exposed in the basement of the building.
